Getting Hands On

Computers are just one of many tools that designers use.  Some of our greatest work is done with our hands. Our design work comes full circle. It starts with an idea or a concept that turns into a hand-drawn sketch. From there we develop it and begin our work on the computer. Once the design work is complete, the funs begins!

Currently we are working on a large 30ft sign. The lettering was done in the computer but know it’s up to us to build and paint the sign.  Signs aren’t the only thing that gets handmade around here either.  We do custom-made vintage-style signs, banner stands, trade show display boards, and car decals, and car wraps to name a few.

As an intern most of these careful hand skills are something you learn by simply doing. Think back to when you’re parents told you “practice makes perfect,”….. well they were right. We are constantly learning new techniques and improving the skills we already have everyday.
